Miami Dolphins In Depth

Good-bye Greg Camarillo, hello Patrick Turner

The Dolphins have traded wide receiver Greg Camarillo to the Minnesota Vikings for unspecified compensation according to multiple sources. The trade was first reported by The Herald's Jeff Darlington.
[Updated: The Dolphins get cornerback Benny Sapp from the Vikings in return. Sapp, a Fort Lauderdale native, is in his seventh NFL season. He started seven games for Minnesota last year. The move suggests Will Allen may not be ready for the start of the season. Allen, out the entire preseason following knee surgery, is now not a lock to be on the roster all of 2010.
The breakdown on Sapp from the good folks at ProFootballFocus.com: "He's an aggressive, quick corner that plays the run pretty well but does struggle in coverage at times. Last season he was thrown at 57 times and allowed 40 completions, for a 10.7 average.  He gave up 2 TDs and got his hands to 6 passes. Opposing QBs had a 103.5 QB rating when throwing at Sapp in '09.
Sapp's a capable nickel corner that plays inside, and will allow completions, but he tends to keep everything in front of him and will be active against the run.]
Camarillo was informed of the trade this morning. He obviously was not at practice today.
So, this is where we are:
Patrick Turner is looking like he is going to make the Dolphins.
He has been on the cusp of a roster spot as the team's No. 5 wide receiver. With Camarillo, previously considered a roster likelihood now gone, Turner moves up one notch. Turner was today taking second-team snaps with Davone Bess. (Brandon Marshall and Brian Hartline were taking first-team snaps in the base offense.)
And the fifth wide receiver position is now up in the air (again) with Marlon Moore, Julius Pruitt and Roberto Wallace battling for that job. Moore has to be the favorite right now with Wallace (6-4 and 225 pounds) looking like he can make a push.
One of those guys will likely be on the practice squad.
Yes, that still leaves the No. 5 job open. Do not dismiss the possibility Miami searches waiver wires and other practice squads for that player. In that case, Miami's No. 5 wide receiver may not be on the roster right now.

Patrick Fabian And Ashley Bell Talk THE LAST EXORCISM

Next week horror picture produced The last Exorcism by stamm`s Eli Roth coming to theatres. Earlier this week i had the chance to sit as part of a round table with stars Ashley Bell and Patrick Fabian to talk about the film and their experiences making it. The complete transcript you'll find of that conversation below. (To Ashley) It's funny, you were born and raised in Hollywood, always around the industry, and here you are playing this hick. This girl who has never really been off the farm. It must be great to be an actor and live all these different lives. Ashley: It is. It is so much fun. And I probably shouldn't say that for this heinously violent character that I play but it was so much fun. The process of preparing for Nell and figuring out what she hasn't been exposed to because she's never left, she's never really needed to. And then trying to figure out, when she's either possessed or in an episode, how to play that ... Daniel actually gave me a huge hint in how to play that, to try to maintain the possibility that she's not possessed, that it's mental illness. So I started researching different illnesses and hysterias, post traumatic stress disorders, certain manias, stuff like that. I got to pull from my teenage years! Did either of you research real life exorcisms? Ashley: Yeah, we actually both did. Patrick: We went to a Pentecostal church in Los Angeles, just outside of Hollywood. I looked it up. I thought we were going to have to drive way deep into the Inland Empire, maybe into Nevada, but no. Ten minutes on Hollywood Boulevard. Out on sixth street there was this little Pentecostal church and that was one of seventeen we could have chosen from. It's right there in Los Angeles. Hellfire and brimstone and wiping the brow and they've got the bass player and the drummer and they're singing to Jesus and they're the friendliest bunch of people you ever want to meet. "Welcome! Welcome! Welcome! Welcome!" So much so that as we were leaving, as things were ending, we left the church and all of a sudden someone came after saying "Where are you going? The pastor wants to see you!" "Uh, no, we're good, thank you very much." "No, the pastor asked specifically to see you." And we both were locked in with that sense of having had an authority figure who said stay, more importantly the pastor is talking to us and then your ego kicks in and I felt that pull of wanting to go back in and, of course, eventually give them money. You know that's part of where that was going. Or they just wanted to bring us into the congregation. I just looked at Ashley like, "What do we do?" Did they know why you were there? Patrick: No, no, not at all. In my mind they just saw fresh meat. They saw potential converts. And I don't mean that in a negative way, they just felt like, "Who are you people? Did Jesus bring you here today? It's our obligation to help bring you in." That's the way I took it. It was very powerful.

LIRR Resumes Partial Service for Evening Rush

The Long Island Rail Road is functioning at 60 percent of its capacity this evening and all trains are going local as a result of a fire in a control tower at the Jamaica transfer station.
Officials are instituting numerous steps to handle the crowds. LIRR President Helena Williams told riders not to take the subway to Jamaica but instead said most of them should go to Penn Station and board the train they need to get home--without making any transfers at Jamaica.
She said riders on the Far Rockaway and Hempstead lines should take the subway to Brooklyn's Atlantic Terminal, however, and board those trains there.
Port Washington trains are operating close to schedule because they do not pass through the LIRR's Jamaica station.
Williams, at a press conference, warned of large crowds at Penn Station and said extra police and MTA personnel would be on hand. She said that riders would not be allowed to descend from the waiting room onto the tracks unless it was certain that the trains below would have enough space to accommodate them.
The fire occurred at 11 a.m., and apparently did not cause any injuries but is hindering trains on 10 of the railroad's 11 lines. Williams speculated that the fire might have been caused by the heavy rains yesterday, which saturated the ground and caused power cables to arc into each other.

At least eight hostages held for 10 hours appear to have survived the hijacking of a tour bus in the heart of the Philippines capital Monday.
The hostage-taker, former police officer Rolando Mendoza, died of a gunshot wound to the head, and at least two hostages were killed, police said.
There were 15 hostages on the bus when police stormed it. Nine had been released earlier, including a mother and her three children, a man with diabetes, and two photographers, . Most of those on the bus were tourists.
Police boarded the gunman-controlled bus about 40 minutes after the driver left and claimed the hostage-taker had killed all those remaining on board. The police retreated immediately, possibly after firing a shot into the bus.
Police cordoned off the area around the bus as they tried to negotiate, and sharpshooters were stationed nearby. Food was delivered to the hostages still on board.
ANC showed passengers peeking out from behind curtains of the parked bus and a sign posted on the bus door saying, “Big mistake to correct a big wrong decision.”

taekwondo, fastest marshel, art game in the world,

taekwondo is one of the most scientific, and systematic, korien martial arts that teach above then physical, fighting skills, today it has become a global game,it stand in the Olympics & official game Let's take a closer look at the meaning of the word "Tae" "Kwon" "Do." It is composed of three parts as shown in the English spelling, though it is one word in Korean. "Tae" means "foot," "leg," or "to step on"; "Kwon" means "fist," or "fight"; and "Do" means the "way" or "discipline." If we put these three parts together, we can see two important concepts behind "Tae Kwon Do".   First, Taekwondo is the right way of using Tae and Kwon 'fists and feet,' or all the parts of the body that are represented by fists and feet. Second, it is a way to control or calm down fights and keep the peace. This concept comes from the meaning of Tae Kwon 'to put fists under control' [or 'to step on fists']. Thus Taekwondo means "the right way of using all parts of the body to stop fights and help to build a better and more peaceful world."   Taekwondo has been developing with the 5000-year long history of Korea, being called by several different names in the course. In Korea, Taekwondo began as a defense martial art called "Subak" or "Taekkyon," and developed as a way of training body and mind in the ancient kingdom of Koguryo, under the name of "Sunbae." In the Shilla period, it had become the backbone of Hwarangdo that aimed at producing leaders of the country.

Your request is being processed... John McCluskey, CAUGHT: Arizona Prison Escapee Found In Campground With Cousin-Fiancee

ST. JOHNS, Ariz. — A forest ranger who alertly spotted a pair of fugitives at a remote Arizona campsite was hailed Friday as "a true hero" after his tip allowed a heavily armed law enforcement contingent to capture the couple.

The efforts by the ranger came at great risk. Fugitive John McCluskey had a gun in his possession and told officers he wished he would have shot the forest ranger when he had the chance, authorities said.

"He is a true hero," Apache County Sheriff Joseph Dedman said. "He made contact. He was out there doing his job when he saw these two fugitives."

McCluskey and Casslyn Welch were captured after a three-week manhunt that made them two of the most wanted fugitives in America and drew hundreds of false sightings.

It's not clear where the fugitives traveled while on the run. They are suspected in several crimes, including the killing of a couple in New Mexico.

McCluskey fled July 30 with two other inmates from a private prison in northwest Arizona and evaded authorities in at least six states before being caught Thursday evening just 300 miles east of the prison.

Authorities arrested McCluskey, 45, and his alleged accomplice Casslyn Welch, 44, at a campsite in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest in eastern Arizona.

Welch, who is McCluskey's fiancee and cousin, reached for a weapon but dropped it when she realized she was outgunned by a swarming SWAT team, said David Gonzales, U.S. marshal for Arizona.

Officers apprehended McCluskey without incident after finding him lying in a sleeping bag outside a tent. He told authorities he had a gun in his tent and would have shot them if he had been able to reach for it.

Arizona Prison Escapee John McCluskey and Casslyn Welch Caught

Arizona fugitives John McCluskey and his kissin’ cousin / fiancee (ewwww) Casslyn Welch were captured by the PoPo after spending three weeks on the lam.
They were ratted out by tipster who turned them in. According to the Apache County Sheriff’s Office, a member of the public called 911 after spotting a couple matching their description at a campground on the edge of the Apache National Forest, 15 miles from the New Mexico state line.
Story continues below…he couple, who likened themselves to a modern day version of Bonnie and Clyde, were arrested without incident and will face a number of charges.
Here is a video about the prison where McCluskey escaped from:
Welch — who is also his cousin and fiancee — is believed to have helped engineer McCluskey’s escape from jail. The pair have been linked to the double murder of a married couple in New Mexico.
McCluskey escaped the medium-security Arizona State Prison near Kingman on July 30 with Daniel Renwick and Tracy Province.
Renwick was captured and returned to custody on Aug. 1 after a car chase and shootout with police in Rifle, Colo. Province was apprehended without incident Aug. 9 outside a church in Meeteetse, Wyo., in the state’s northwest Park County.
Authorities had been focusing their search efforts for McCluskey and Welch in the northern United States, near the Canada border, but the pair was caught just 300-some miles from where McCluskey had been incarcerated.
Earlier Thursday, the state’s director of prisons said faulty alarms and negligent staff response allowed the three convicted murderers to break out.
Director of the Arizona Department of Corrections Chuck Ryan said an alarm system that had not been properly maintained in two years resulted in a “de-sensitization” of staff, which meant they failed to respond to alarms.
Two alarms were set off as the trio broke free but neither alarm resulted in an officer response.
Ryan called the incident the “worst escape tragedy” since 1978.

Former Cuban President Fidel Castro continues to taunt the West, this time with an article that accuses the ultra-secretive Bilderberg Group of conspiring to create a one-world government.
http://worldhotsearch1.blogspot.com/Despite his advanced age and periodic bouts with an intestinal disorder, 84-year-old Castro continues to warn on the West, this time by dedicating three pages in the Communist Party newspaper Granma that quotes excerpts from a 2006 book by investigative journalist Daniel Estulin entitled "The Secrets of the Bilderberg Club".

National Foundation For Credit Counseling

uncommon for students to come home for holidays with some new and interesting ideas, some extra kilos and a couple of tattoos.
But here are something more college students not to bring home this Thanksgiving: a credit card.
Credit card reform law enacted last year prohibits lenders from issuing cards to persons under age 21 unless they can prove they can make payments or get a parent or guardian to sign together. The provision came into force on 22 February, so that when he begins college this fall, students will not be received by CC issuers covered pizza coupons and T-shirts.
The requirement is to prevent students from accumulating debts that cannot afford. But it could also avoid us of credit cards responsibly to build a good credit profile.
On Twitter: Follow Sandra block
Young adults who graduate from college without a positive credit history might have difficulty qualifying for a car loan, rent an apartment, even get a job, says Gail Cunningham, spokeswoman for the National Foundation for Credit Counseling.
Even with the restrictions, parents can help college-age children build a credit history. Alternatives to consider:
• Add your child to a credit card as an authorized user. In doing so, the child can use the card, but you are responsible for the account.
The history of the payment card will be reported to credit bureaus on behalf of his son, which will help the child build a credit history. Parents, meanwhile, can track how the card is being used.
If it appears the child is misusing your card, you can have the child removed as an authorized user before things get out of hand, says June Walbert, a financial planner with USAA Financial Planning Services.
There are some drawbacks. If your child is running a huge bill and cannot afford to pay, your credit will be damaged. Similarly, if you lose your job and fall behind in their credit card payments it, the damage is not limited to your credit report. The story of her son will be tarnished credit, too.
Another drawback to authorized users is the amount of available credit.
If you have had your card for a long time, you could have a credit limit of 10,000 or more y. Parents have to think hard about whether they trust their children with a lot of credit before adding as authorized users, Walbert said.
• Co-signing a credit card for your child. This card is the name of his son, so it also helps children build a credit history. As a co-signer will receive a monthly statement, and the limits of the credit card cannot be increased without approval.
And because the card will be issued in the name of your child, you probably have a lower limit of its own credit card, which limits the amount of damage he or she can do.
But as the co-signer will be responsible for the debt if the child cannot make the payments, Walbert said.
Furthermore, “If there is a late payment or a payment or underpayment, if they go beyond their limit, which will reflect negatively on the credit report from the parents,” he says.
Another potential drawback: As co-signers, you and your child have the same control of the account, says Cunningham, which means it cannot close the account without the consent of his son.
For that reason, the addition of one child as an authorized user is generally a better option than co-signing a credit card, says Cunningham.
“If you put your student on your existing credit card as an authorized user, you have total control of that letter,” she says. “If Junior does not comply with the rules, I will not be asking your permission to close the card.”
• Find out if your child is still eligible to a credit card. Some college students who earn a part-time employment may be able to qualify for credit cards with no cosigner, Walbert said.
The card can have a very low limit, but that’s not a bad thing, because it limits the amount the child can go.
• Have your child a debit card. With a debit card, you can control the cost of your child, and replenish the account when necessary.
The disadvantage of debit cards is that they will help your child develop a credit history.
However, if your goal is to teach children to manage money responsibly, have a debit card is a good first step, says Cunningham?
“Say:” If this person is, you get a credit card. “”http://worldhotsearch1.blogspot.com/

Rod Blagojevich: The Government Proved Nothing (VIDEO)

The city was abuzz Tuesday afternoon following the reading of the verdict in the Rod Blagojevich corruption trial. Blagojevich was found guilty on just one of 24 counts--which angered prosecutors and made the ex-governor and his attorneys feel vindicated.
While U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald told the Associated Press the government was ready for a retrial, Blagojevich and his attorneys slammed the feds--calling the trial a "persecution" and waste of money.
Blagojevich, who was found guilty of making false statements to a federal agent, said he did not lie--and his attorney Sam Adam Jr. said he takes the blame for not convincing jurors of just that.
"Yes, I'm talking to the next jury," Adam said during a fiery press briefing after the trial. "You want to blame somebody ... you look right at me."
Blagojevich also addressed the media with his wife Patti by his side.
"I've told the truth from the very beginning," he said. "This is a persecution. We have police officers who are being gunned down on the streets, we have children who can't play in front of their homes in the summertime because they might get gunned down, and we have a prosecutor who has wasted and wants to spend tens of millions of dollars of taxpayer money to keep persecuting me."

Seattle News

Seattle News, SEATTLE – It only took Kentwanhttp://worldhotsearch1.blogspot.com/Balmer a meeting with Mike Singletary, a few days of unexcused absences from the San Francisco 49ers and then trade up for a new life in the NFL in Seattle.
The 23-year-old does not share the reason for his break with the team that drafted him in the first round two years ago.
Balmer said that “you are very persistent, man” when pressed for an explanation on Tuesday by The Associated Press.
That was after he passed a physical with the Seahawks and then practiced at defensive tackle and end with the second unit.
A first-round pick of the team disappears and then reappears with division rival seems to need more than one explanation.
Balmer admits that “strikes people as a bit different,” but says it is ready to move forward in Seattle.

Nasser: A Familar Name in Potash Battle

The takeover battle that has erupted over Potash puts a name from 1990s corporate America back in the limelight.
In his first year as chairman of BHP Billiton, Jacques Nasser, the former chief executive of Ford Motor, is helping lead his company’s pursuit of Potash, a Canadian fertilizer giant. Mr. Nasser wrote to his counterpart at Potash on Aug. 13, outlining BHP Billiton’s $38.6 billion offer
The offer, according to a copy of the letter on The Financial Times’s Web site (PDF), “provides shareholders with value certainty and an immediate opportunity to realize the value of their shares in the face of volatile equity markets.”
BHP, the letter says, had “fully negotiated a financing facilities agreement with our relationship banks, which is sufficient to fund the transaction,” which is all cash.
Mr. Nasser, a 62-year-old Australian, is no stranger to the acquisition game. As chief executive of Ford, he oversaw the acquisitions of Volvo and Land Rover  — businesses that the company later sold off.
After his ouster from Ford in 2001, Mr. Nasser soon landed on his feet and joined One Equity Partners, a private-equity unit of Bank One, which later merged with JPMorgan Chase. One Equity bought instant photo pioneer Polaroid out of bankruptcy for $255 million  and made Mr. Nasser chairman. Less than three years later, One Equity sold the company to Petters Group Worldwide for $426 million.
(JPMorgan is serving as BHP’s financial adviser.)
In Australia, Mr. Nasser was in the news earlier this year for speaking out against a proposal by the government to impose a 40 percent tax on natural resources.
