Insane Clown Posse (ICP) invents the word “Juggalo”

The term originated during a live performance by Insane Clown Posse. During the song “The Juggla”, Joseph Bruce addressed the audience as Juggalos, and the positive response resulted in Bruce and Joseph Utsler using the word thereafter to refer to themselves and their friends, family, and fans, including other Psychopathic Records artists. Juggalos have compared themselves to a family. Common characteristics include drinking the inexpensive soft drink Faygo and wearing face paint.

PHOTOS Tila Tequila attacked at Gathering of The Juggalos

It was announced months ago that Tila Tequila would be performing at the 2010 Gathering of the Juggalos and tons of Juggalos were none to happy about it. Things worsened when Tila apparently misspelled ICP as IKP on her blog eliciting threatening comments that were apparently not just threats!


TMZ is reporting that Tila was attacked during her Gathering performance earlier today and was forced to retreat to her trailer while crowd members threw stones, bottles and firecrackers at her!


Here’s what Tila told TMZ:


“I went onstage and immediately, before I even got on stage, DUDES were throwing HUGE STONE ROCKS in my face, beer bottles that slit my eye open, almost burnt my hair on fire cuz they threw fire crackers on stage, and they even took the sh*t out of the port-0-potty and threw sh*t and piss at me when I was onstage.”


“These people were trying to kill me. So then after the last blow to my head with the firecracker they threw at me exploded, my bodygaurd and the other security grabbed me and ran as fast as they could to the sh!tty trailor. Since their security SUCKS, the 2 thousand people ran after us, trying to kill me. They almost got me so they finally reach the trailor, blood all over myself, cant stop bleeding, then all of a sudden, all 2 thousand people surround the trailor and busts the windows!!! Even the guys INSIDE with me were shaking! Their hands were shaking cuz they were so scared! So 3 guys inside the trailor had to grab a table and push it over the broken windows and grabbed all the chairs they could find so hold the people from outside back. It was scary as hell!”

The attack seems right in line with the threats she received online. Here are some examples of angry comments gathered by Juggalo Holocaust leading up to the performance:

Tila Tequila Attacked by Beer Bottle Bashin Juggalos

Tila Tequila was attacked, and this time it wasn’t by Shawne Merriman. Tila was set to perform at the “Gathering of the Juggalos” which is a blend of underground musical performances by artists such as ICP (Insane Clown Posse), Blaze Ya Dead Homie, Tech N9Ne, and more.  It’s not really the type of place you’d see someone like…Tila Tequila.
So there are questions why the bisexual reality show starlet would show up at such a place. She was listed as a performer on the official poster,
According to TMZ, Tila Tequila said:

CNN reports that Tila is planning on suing the organizers of the juggalos, and there are some indications that the whole thing may have been planned.  Tila may have even been WARNED about the plans, further leading to questions as to why she performed at the event.
Okay, I get that Tila Tequila can be annoying, but come on. That’s no reason to pelt her with beer bottles and pee filled balloons. Her suit against Shawne Merriman for his alleged assault against her was dropped, but I don’t think this suit will be!
