DRUG TEST, Cleveland Browns' Josh Gordon facing season ban

ESPN is reporting that star
WR Josh Gordon could face a season-long suspension for a positive drug test for marijuana.

Gordon would not deny or confirm the ESPN reports, and his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, called them "not true."

NFL Draft results 2014: Quarterbacks take a fall in Round 1

It was billed as one of the most unpredictable drafts in years, and the 2014 NFL Draft lived up to expectations in Thursday's first round.

Despite some rumors about them trying to trade out of the top spot, the Houston Texans hung on and took Jadeveon Clowney, making him the first defensive player to go No. 1 since Mario Williams in 2006. But the real madness came in the quarterback class.

The Jacksonville Jaguars made the first real surprise of the night, selecting Blake Bortles over Johnny Manziel and Teddy Bridgewater. Many thought Johnny Football would end up with the Cleveland Browns when they traded down to the No. 9 spot, but Cleveland moved up one spot and grabbed Justin Gilbert instead. After that, Manziel tumbled to the 20s before the Browns traded back up to take him No. 22 overall.

Meanwhile, Bridgewater nearly had to wait until Friday to hear his name called, but the Minnesota Vikings traded back into of the first round to pick up the Louisville quarterback at No. 32. They also took Anthony Barr at No. 9, making it a nice haul for Mike Zimmer's first draft.

Elsewhere, the St. Louis Rams shored up the line on both sides, drafting Greg Robinson and Aaron Donald. The Buffalo Bills made an aggressive move to upgrade their receiving corps, sending their 2015 first and fourth-round picks to Cleveland to move to No. 4 and take Sammy Watkin

Dr Dre's Apple deal will make him the richest man in hip-hop

Name: Dr Dre.

Age: 49.

Appearance: Distinguished, very well-off.

What is he a doctor of? He's a rapper and record producer, real name Andre Young. The doctorate is sort of an honorary thing.

I was going to say that he sounds a bit overqualified. He's doing all right: Dr Dre is about to become rap's richest man.

Is he not already? The title currently belongs to P Diddy, who according to Forbes is worth $700m. But Dr Dre, former NWA member, Grammy-winning producer and Eminem and 50 Cent collaborator, now looks set to surpass him.

Wow. I had no idea there was so much money in misogynist rhyming. There isn't quite. Dr Dre's big payday would come from the sale of his Beats headphones empire to Apple.

Wow. I had no idea there was so much money in headphones. If there is it's due largely to Dr Dre and his partner, Jimmy Iovine, who started Beats Electronics in 2008. They made headphones fashionable, imbuing them with a streetwise, overpriced cool that only Apple's money can buy.

Roughly how much money are we talking about? With the sales of Beats Electronics and its fledging music streaming service, Beats Music, about $3.2bn

Come again? It's a big number. If it goes ahead it will be Apple's largest ever acquisition.

And Dr Dre will be hip-hop's first billionaire! That's what the headlines say. Pity it isn't true.

Of course it is! Do the maths! If you insist: the good doctor is presently worth $550m. He co-founded Beats, but last year Carlyle Group acquired a minority shareholding for $500m. His present stake is thought to be somewhere between 20 and 25%.

Which means? That after the sale – and after tax – Dre will be worth $800m; ahead of Diddy and Jay Z, but some way shy of his first billion.

Well he can always play a few concerts if he needs some cash. Or he could release his long-awaited but yet-to-arrive album Detox. Some say it was shelved to prevent a lukewarm reception damaging the Beats brand.

Do say: "He reached millions with his music, and made millions with his headphones."

Don't say: "Doctor, I'm having a slight problem with my hearing."

SURPRISE! Parks and Recreation Season 6 Finale Review: Call Me Kristen, 'Cause I Am Wigging Out!

Most of Parks and Recreation's sixth season focused on the major changes in Leslie's life, like being recalled from the office she'd worked so hard to reach, receiving a great offer for a new job in Chicago, and discovering that she was pregnant with triplets. And in that regard, "Moving Up" felt more like a series finale than a season finale as it wrapped up several ongoing storylines, including Leslie's career decision, the Unity Concert, and Tom's new restaurant venture. It also featured cameos from almost everyone who's ever appeared on the series, and it was full of wonderful surprises—from a Li'l Sebastian hologram to a Mouse Rat reunion to a surprise appearance by Duke Silver to a cameo by Jon Hamm. But perhaps the biggest shocker came when the series jumped three years into the future in the final moments of the episode, and LESLIE HAD BANGS. Oh yeah, there was also the bit about how she took the job with the U.S. National Park Service, but convinced her new boss to let her live and work in Pawnee instead of Chicago (it's a good thing Ron spent so much time fixing up the third floor of City Hall instead of, say, doing his actual job). Ben and Leslie's children are now toddlers, Ben has a fancy new job (might it have something to do with the Cones of Dunshire game, which is apparently sweeping the nation?), and Jerry-Larry is now named Terry. There were so many new things thrown our way in that time jump that I barely had time to appreciate Jon Hamm, whose character felt a bit like a poor man's Chris Traeger with his good looks, positive attitude, and use of the word literally. However, I don't know that Hamm's cameo—which I'm glad the show kept a secret after announcing literally every other guest-star—beats out Michelle Obama's cameo. Leslie's reaction to meeting the FLOTUS was actually more entertaining than anything Lady Obama actually said or did, but it was definitely a highlight of "Moving Up."
